The JCFD responds to over 4,500 911 calls a year -approximately 12 calls per day.
45% of JCFD calls involve non-residents of Jefferson City.
59% of JCFD calls are medical emergencies providing basic life support
services until an ambulance arrives. 
41% of JCFD calls are structure fires, vehicle extrications, hazardous materials incidents and specialty rescues.
78% of people will need 911 services in their lifetime.
